What is Shadowly?
Shadowly is a free web tool for viewing public Instagram profiles, stories, posts, reels, highlights and follower lists without logging in.
Can I watch Instagram stories anonymously?
Yes. Shadowly does not use your Instagram account, so when you watch a public story your name never appears in the owner’s viewer list.
Can I see the content of a private account?
No. Posts, stories and reels of private accounts are only available to approved followers. Shadowly does not bypass that and only shows public content.
Is Shadowly free?
Yes, basic use is free. Some lists, such as followers, following and reels, may be shown partially on the free plan, and the interface tells you how many entries are hidden.
Do I need to log in or share a password?
No. Shadowly never asks for your Instagram username or password. If a site claiming to be Shadowly asks for them, it is a fake.
What can I download?
Stories, post images and reels from public accounts. The content belongs to its owner, so ask for permission before you republish it.
Can I follow people or like posts with it?
No. Shadowly is read-only. To follow, like or comment you need to sign in to Instagram with your own account.
Is Shadowly affiliated with Instagram?
No. Shadowly is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.
How is the Instagram engagement rate calculated, and what is a good rate?
Add the average likes and the average comments, divide by the follower count and multiply by 100. It depends on account size: about 1.5–4% under 10K followers, 1–3% between 10K and 100K, and around 1% or less for larger accounts is normal. What is the Instagram Creator Report?
For a public Instagram account, it shows a quality score built from recent posts, a profile audit and estimated sponsorship rates for a post, reel and story in a single report. You can share the report as a link. No login or password is needed.
How reliable is the estimated sponsorship rate?
It is a rough estimate, not an official rate card or an industry survey. It is based on follower count, engagement rate and views. The real price changes with niche, usage rights and negotiation; the report is a reference point to start from.
Can I analyze TikTok accounts?
Yes, for public accounts. The TikTok profile analysis shows median views, engagement per view and top videos from recent posts. Private accounts cannot be analyzed. No login or password is needed.
