About Shadowly

Our mission

To make public Instagram and TikTok content clear, fast and accessible without needing an account. We want brands, creators and curious people to see how an account performs without giving a password or signing up.

What we do

Type a public username or paste a profile link and Shadowly shows what that account already shares publicly. No Instagram login is needed and we never ask for your password.

What we don’t do

Shadowly cannot open private accounts and does not bypass any privacy setting. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Why we are independent

Shadowly is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Instagram, TikTok, Meta or ByteDance. That independence shows in our results too: we never change any account’s analysis, score or estimated rate in exchange for payment; everyone gets the same method.

How our analyses work

Engagement rate, medians and averages are calculated from an account’s recent public posts. We explain the formulas openly on our blog. The quality score and estimated sponsorship rate in the Creator Report are rough estimates, not an official rate card or an industry survey, and real prices change with negotiation.

Our approach to privacy

We never ask for an Instagram or TikTok password, and we work without a login. To keep the service safe and prevent abuse we keep limited records such as the searched username, time, IP address and browser details; we do not sell this data. Non-essential cookies run only with your consent. Details are on our privacy page.

Our team

Shadowly is built by a small, independent team. We prepare our tools and guides ourselves, fix mistakes and keep them up to date.

How we are funded

Basic use is free with a small daily allowance. Heavier use runs on credits, and the site may show advertising. You can always reject non-essential cookies.
